Q: I speak of a well near the toilet. I wash, as the carpet once a month, but it generally feels (oil etc. .. yuck!). What should I use for the upper crust of the smell? I have an air freshener in the bathroom, but it does not help.

A: I'm with kalikat on it. Distribution of white vinegar over and let stand a few minutes before throwing in the laundry.

Febreeze sucks ... I'm sorry, but the smell of offal in a fancy spray bottle.

Q: My 2 year old female has bewitched up the habit of scratching and soiling rugs in our bathroom. We wash or replace the rug, but she keeps doing it! We also clean out the litterbox habitual, and wash it once a week. She also has multiple scratching

A: I took the rugs up from my bathrooms because a masculine cat liked to wet on them whenever they were down and I got tired of washing them all the time. He uses a litterbox.

You do say you clean the litterBOX well. You certainly should

Some years he has had unimportant problems with urination at the back door if other cats have been marking their vicinity on the porch, which I administer with by having an old washable rug there, and which hasn't been much of an difficulty in brand-new years. The uncontrollable did not fully vanish--once or twice at this nonetheless of year he typically poops on the puzzle someplace (he did it this week for the first on occasion in over a year) I scrub the litter boxes and possibly add some additional deodorizer or cedar chips... For urination, I've also grabbed the cat and acquainted with it as a rag to inundate up the urine, then dedicated it a spry douse under the faucet to get rid of it off, then dried it with a towel and hand it locked in the bathroom for a while. This possibly leaves a spare urine bouquet on the fur that we can't discover but the cat can for indubitably some point after, which seems to act as a valued stumbling-block.
